Arial Font deleted - Internet browsing font all bold
Hi, for some reason I ran into the issue where my internet browser (firefox) returns google search results that appear in all bold. I tested it out using IE and Chrome, but instead of all bold it replaces it with Italics. I found that it was due to my Arial font missing and found a quick fix that temporarily restores it to normal by downloading something called arial32.exe (http://web.nickshanks.com/fonts/microsoft-core-web-fonts). After a restart however, the fonts go back to bold and Arial is still missing. I know for sure that its missing because the OS replaces the font with one of the variants (bold/italics). When I choose arial as a font to type out it comes out in italics, when I choose italics nothing happens, when I choose bold it selects arial bold. What shall I do to end this predicament once and for all?

Well find someone to send you the arial.ttf Font File & put it in: C:\Windows\Fonts. This should resolve your issue. If you find nobody being able to send it. You can try booting your computer with the W7 DVD en choosing a system restore point to fix this issue.Don't forget about Alt+Esc!

Hi, Have you taken the steps Wesleedb suggested? If not, please perform them. Also, as we know the fonts settings in a webpage are not fully controlled by the browser. We can check this in some other applications, such as Microsoft Office Word. Hope it helps.
