Application Installation
I cant install an older application on a Windows 7 test machine. The application is Vantage 5.2 and it is running on a Windows 2003 32 bit server. I get an error saying I need to set up mapped drives in group policy. I have not seen this problem in Windows XP, so I am not sure how to trouble shoot it. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit in a domain environment.Tom Pickup

Hi, Thank you for your posts. Considering the issue is related to specific software, it is also recommended that you contact the software company to ensure that this application supports Windows 7 and check if they have any constructive suggestions on this issue. Thanks again for your understanding and cooperation.Nicholas Li - MSFT

Sorry I am late replying back. I've been real busy with researching upgrades. I found that Windows 7 has an XP mode. My company doesn't yet have a machine capable of running it yet Thanks!!!!!!!!!Tom Pickup
