Any method to
view win7 event log from xp?
The characters becomes symbol after saved as csv file opening in excel on Xp though xp and win 7 are same Chinese language.

Depending which version of Excel you have you can save the event log to XML and then open this file in Excel. It works well with Excel 2010.G North MMI

Yes, it can be viewed correctly on Excel 2007. I used office XP version before. Thanks.
