Anonymous Callers is blocked

Hello Everyone,

Currently I have an issue with Lync sending response code 400 bad request to the PBX (Asterisk FreePBX)

[2015-07-31 13:29:11] VERBOSE[28112][C-00000af4] app_dial.c:     -- Called SIP/Lync/9057735866
[2015-07-31 13:29:11] VERBOSE[6963][C-00000af4] chan_sip.c:     -- Got SIP response 400 "Bad Request" back from EDITED:5060
[2015-07-31 13:29:11] VERBOSE[28112][C-00000af4] app_dial.c:     -- SIP/Lync-00000837 is circuit-busy

I have allowed Anonymous callers via Asterisk but Lync keeps refusing it.

How can I force lync to accept anonymous callers?

Hi

you need to ensure that the from field from asterisk in the SIP message matches anonymous@domain.com;user=phone where domain.com = your SIP domain. Then Lync should accept the call

How you do this on asterisk, I have no idea, sorry

thanks

Are you sure it's the anonymous caller issue and not some other issue?  Does the call work if it's not anonymous?

Hi All,

Yes i know this is an anonymous issue. I have blocked my number and called the system and it drops the call right away. When we unblock and call the system from multiple phones/providers it 110% of the time without fail.

I ran a sip debug on Asterisk and it shows the caller as Anonymous@anonymous.invalid

I have contacted my provider to see if they can modify the headers of the anonymous call to anonymous@domain.com

Looks like i was able to resolve the problem.

To others having any issues calling from a private number while using Asterisk as your IP-PBX ensure your peer details are correct.

One of my peer details pointing from Asterisk to Lync was incorrect for my setup.
