Hello Jun_M,
First, make very sure the system is malware free.
Start with Download the Microsoft® Windows® Malicious Software Removal Tool from the Microsoft Download Center
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=AD724AE0-E72D-4F54-9AB3-75B8EB148356&displaylang=en
It is suggested that you rename mrt.exe to some other name, such as Omega.exe, then run it.
After a run of MSRT has finished, you will find the log at C:\WINDOWS\Debug\mrt.log or C:\WINNT\Debug\mrt.log
The file may be opened and viewed with Notepad or similar text editor.
If and only if your system is Vista x64, WIN7 -x64, Windows XP x64 and Windows 2003 x64 computers.

If no infections were found, you will see in your log
[qp]Results Summary:

Follow that with check using the safety scanner

I certainly would hope your anti-virus program is current and up-to-date. Insure that is so by doing it's Update check and do a full scan of your system.
Second, Check on some key Windows services by using the services management console ( services.msc).
The following services must NOT be *Disabled* in the Startup type.
Automatic Updates
Background Intelligent Transfer Service(BITS)
Cryptographic Services
Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
You use Start button > Select RUN and type into the run box:
services.msc
amd press OK.
They need to show a startup type of Manual or Automatic.
Here are the services & their Startup types:
Automatic Updates . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Automatic
Background Intelligent Transfer Service(BITS) . . . Manual
Cryptographic Services . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Automatic
Remote Procedure Call (RPC). . . . . . . . . . . . .Automatic

Hi,
According to your description, this error code generates when Windows updates.
May I know the related event logs that may contain additional troubleshooting information?
Please post the related logs in your post.
First, please run services.msc, and ensure the Background Intelligent Transfer Service is started.
Second, you better run sfc /scannow (without the quotes) command under an Administrator Command Prompt window. If there is another error message, please post it on the forum or continue troubleshooting with this error.
