An attempt to route to an exchange UM server failed

Hello just starting this morning when someone calls our outside line number they get the "were sorry due to telephone company facility trouble" message.  This normally routes to our exchange UM attendant.  The only thing I can find in the lync event viewer to do with this is :

An attempt to route to an Exchange UM server failed.

The attempt failed with response code 403: our server
Request Target: [MATC_ATTEND2.MATC_SIP2@our server], Call Id: [2f85bd28-5ff4-4aa6-9ce6-b7ce4a58ad6a].
Failure occurrences: 6, since 7/29/2015 8:51:30 AM.
Cause: An attempt to route to an Exchange UM server failed because the UM server was unable to process the request or did not respond within the allotted time.
Resolution:
Check this server is correctly configured to point to the appropriate Exchange UM server. Also check whether the Exchange UM server is up and whether it in turn is also properly configured.

Any help with this one?

Hi

Have you restarted the UM services? Has a certificate expired? Any changes to the UM Dial Plan or AA?

thanks

Hi,

1. Restart UM Services.

2. Check if any change for UM

3. Make sure Lync Server and Exchange update to the latest version.

4. If the issue persists, try to remove the AA setting and then recreate it with the same configuration.

Best Regards,

Eason Huang
