Allowing Non-Admin Users to Install Active X Controls
Hello, I have an XP machine with several user accounts. There is one administrator account. When users log in with their own username and password, they can use certain applications and browse the web. Some of them are hitting web sites with Active X controls but when they try to install the active x control, it says that they have to be a local administrator. If I log in as administrator and hit the same web site, it downloads the active x control and then the user can log into their account and the site works. I don't want to have to do this all of the time, so is there a way to allow users to download active x controls from designated sites without giving them full admin rights to the box? Thanks!1 person needs an answerI do too
