Allow a program to always get admin rights?
I have a game which requires admin privileges just to run. It's annoying to always say Yes w/o an option like "Yes always for this program". So I figured it'd be nice if there was a way to let one program (with admin's approval) to always get admin privileges (without an UAC prompt), but this would work only for programs the admin chooses. In my mind, it could be a checkbox in application's properties: What do you think?

I think what he's looking for is something I can see being somewhat useful - an exception list, if you will for UAC. I actually have one app - ICQ 2003a - that, like his game, annoyingly wants to throw up a UAC prompt every time I boot and every time it runs. Yes, I know, there are newer, more compatible versions out there - but I honestly hate them. Damn AOL for buying the company... BUT I digress... Actually.. I don't think he's got anything other than 7000.. If you read his post - this looks like a photoshopped up revision of the properties box and is something he created. Probably used the first icon he had handy on his desktop to open the properties box from and grab a screen shot...

I really did miss that. As a matter of fact, I misread the entire OP. As such, I am going to recall my original response.
