Allow Non Administrator To Change Network Settings

I have several laptops I have to deploy.  These laptops are will be used over a VPN.  However, each laptop has both a WIFI and LAN.  Some of the users prefer to use the WIFI, but at times, are forced to use the LAN.  The problem is, we (SA's) configure the LAN settings for a Static IP.  However, the end user will need to disable the WIFI, Enable the LAN, and then change to DHCP to access their home network.

We don't want to give these users Local Administrator privileges to the laptops.  Is there a way for us to provide the ability to change the network settings without being a Local Administrator?

Thank you.

Try Power User access. In case you want to give specific access, you can try a third party app like Avecto.
Free Windows Admin Tool Kit Click here and download it now

Hi

Try adding these users to local local "Network Configuration Operators" group.

Members in this group can have some administrative privileges to manage configuration of networking

net localgroup "Network Configuration Operators" /add <user>
