All Windows 7 lost their shares after changing router - Setup Network discovery on corporate environment
Hi to everyone, I wanna invite you to image what happen on that scenario: 50 pc's running Windows 7 with "network discovery" activated. What's happen if you try to change local router device? With default settings of windows 7 each user will be asked about choose wich profile to use: public, private, home. Secondly each windows shared folder will be unavailable. Is there any way to make private profile as default and prevent any user interaction? Is there a way to disable "Network discovery" but maintain lan browsing feature? thanks to all
