After windows anytime upgrade, Windows7 professional can't join a domain
Receiving message "an active directory domain controller could not be contacted..." when trying to join to a domain after a windows anytime upgrade to windows 7 professional. I made sure the domain name "CLC.DOMAIN' was typed correctly. From
the server R2 2008 domain controller I can browse the folders for this workstation, but can't join.

Hi,
The issue may related with DNS cache on Windows 7.
Please register DNS via command:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
If the issue persists, try to type IP address instead of domain name when join the domain.
Furthermore, you can manually set the DNS server on Windows 7 local area connection---properties---IPv4
Hope that helps.
