After recently swithcing from a workgroup to a domain, my administrator account was changed to a guest account.
Somehow my adminstrator account as changed to a guest account during a switch from a typical WORKGROUP to a school domain. I am still on the school domain and unable to change back because of only having one guest account and no other user accounts to jump to. My other problem is both Windows System Restore and my laptops built in partition for recovery can only be accessed by an administrator. I cannot say how it took place however I tried many methods available on the forums to activate the hidden administrator account and always get asked user/password credentials in safe mode or get System error 5 in command prompt in safe mode.
