After installing monthly updates additional languages appear.

Hi

I have Win 8.1 Ent x64. Each month I have to remove additional languages which I do not use. And it happens after each patch Tuesday from our SCCM server.

Under control panel ->Language.

I need only one and it is not English. But it keeps reappearing.

Hi,

This is cased by your Server. If your computer as a client in the group that applied to the Server package. Everytime it pushed, the language package would installed in your computer.

I suggest you contact your IT administrator to remove your object from that distribution group.

Hi

I am also sysadmin :)

We do not deploy any language packs via SCCM. But yes all other updates are in one package and are in one software update group for each month.

Hi,

If these computer only could obtain the Windows Update from your SCCM, the only way they get the language package is from SCCM. Please double check your regular package.

If they could also get the update via internet by themselves, disable automatically install Windows update feature.

Do .NET framework language packs count or Internet Explorer?

Non of them are applied to Windows 8.1

.NET was applied to 2 Windows 7 computers.

Hi,

What's the meaning of your reply? Was it related to this issue of yours?

Hi,

To narrow down it, let's do a test.

Remove one compute from your domain and before patch Tuesday, and check the result after the Tuesday.

If the language doesn't appear again, it indicated the root cause is SCCM pushing.

If it appear again, it might be the Windows update.

In addition, give us a screenshot of language interface when additional language appear as below:
