After installing latest Windows updates.
Dear all, I recently installed the latest Windows updates and are now having problems with my programmes at start up.When I turn on my pc everything starts up fine with no problems, except my Belkin wireless internet utility. There is a delay of about 90 seconds after which the programs start. I have looked at the event viewer and noticed two new error messages as below:1st ERROR MESSAGE: Event Type: ErrorEvent Source: Service Control ManagerEvent Category: NoneEvent ID: 7000Date: 08/10/2010Time: 13:57:22User: N/ADescription:The SSPORT service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.2ND ERROR MESSAGE:Event Type: ErrorEvent Source: Service Control ManagerEvent Category: NoneEvent ID: 7000Date: 08/10/2010Time: 13:57:22User: N/ADescription:The DgiVecp service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified. For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.I have uninstalled the updates to see if it is actually these that are causing the problem. Thanks for your reply, I tried that but it's still doing the same thing ?Also checked for any virus, malware or anything else. I'm lost as to why the error message says can't find the specified file ???
