After Skype for Business: Meeting Options set in Outlook are not used in the Meetings

Hi everyone,

after the Update from Lync 2013 to the Skype for Business 2015 Client, I noticed that the Meeting Options you can set within Outlook (for example who needs to wait in the waiting room, is not used in the actual meeting.

Although the settings are persistent within Outlook, for every Meeting I currently must make sure that I am starting it before everyone else and set the same settings again within the meeting with the SfB Client.

Can someone confirm this behaviour? If yes, is this already known and a fix under way? Especially when you invite externals, sometimes I appreciate it if I need to approve them to pull them into the actual meeting instead of everyone just joining in midst conversation or while you are preparing something.

Hi,

Would you please elaborate the "actual meeting" (Meet Now?)?

If you mean actual meeting to be Meet Now, it is the normal situation. The SFB meeting options set on Outlook will not affect the setting by Meet Now. You need to set the meeting option through SFB client when creating a "Meet Now" meeting.

I agree.  I am having this same problem.   Unless you set the options as desired INITIALLY - you canNOT go back into Outlook and change them.    I do not know why this is happening.  I will continue to research.

Have you found any information?
