Hello,This problem may happens if certain hardware device like display card or motherboard BIOS is not fully compatible with Win7 Aero. I saw a thread with the same problem and it was resolved by updating the BIOS. See that thread, click here.My suggestion:1. Update your display drivers or use another older display card driver..2. When the problem happens after resuming the PC from sleep mode, follow Windows Aero Troubleshooter to solve the issue: Open the Aero troubleshooter. Place windows in sleep mode again and see if the issue reoccurs. 3. boot the computer to clean boot mode to test the problem.4. Update the BIOS. Thomas77
