I have gone to Adobe and down loaded it from there and nothing helps.Does any one know how to get around this problem? Sometime I get the pop-up twice fram one site, just tried of clciking ok and Run all the time.Thanks,Tyserman474

Lets follow the adobe's web site guidelines for troubleshooting your problem. First go here and get their flash player uninstaller http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html. Save the file to your system, choosing a location where you can find it (for example, your desktop). Macintosh users may need to open or unstuff the .hqx file. Quit ALL running applications, including all Internet Explorer or other browser windows, AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, or other Messengers. Check the Windows system tray carefully to make certain no applications are still in memory which might possibly use Flash Player. Run the uninstaller. This will remove Adobe Flash Player from all browsers on the system. Note: The uninstaller cannot remove files currently in use. If you have any instances of the player open in your web browsers, instant messaging clients, stand-alone SWFs, or projectors, then the uninstaller will complete but some files may not be deleted. If this occurs, then close all of your applications and run the uninstaller again to ensure that all files are removed. Note: Internet Explorer users may have to reboot to clear all uninstalled Flash Player ActiveX control files. If you're not certain, select the "Show Details" button in the Flash Player uninstaller. If there are any log lines that begin with "Delete on Reboot..." then you'll need to reboot BEFORE running the Flash Player installer again. Now you should be able to go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?promoid=BUIGP for IE8 & Windows 7 installer, be sure to uncheck google toolbar (who wants extra's that you don't need, its already my default search app - removed bing) Let us know how it goesMCSE, MCSA, MCDST [If this post helps to resolve your issue, please click the "Mark as Answer" or "Helpful" button at the top of this message. Hi Tyserman, What version of Windows 7 you are using? Is it x64 bit or x32 bit? If you are using x64 edition Windows 7, please understand that Adobe Flash Player does not support x64 bit version operation system. However, you can use the x32 bit version Internet Explorer to view websites contain Flash Player. You can find it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE. However, if you are currently using Windows 7 x32 bit version, please refer to the suggestions below to check this issue: Reset Internet Explorer (IE) settings ====== Note: the following steps will remove all of installed add-ons and reset IE to default settings. We need to reinstall the add-ons after resetting. 1. Click "Start", type "inetcpl.cpl" (without quotation marks) into “Search” bar and press "Enter" to open the “Internet Options” window. 2. Switch to the "Advanced" tab. 3. Click "Reset…" to reset Internet Explorer settings. 4. Check "Delete personal settings" box and click "Reset" to confirm the operation. 5. Click "Close" when the resetting process is complete. 6. Close the Internet Explorer window and restart IE to check the issue. For more information about how to troubleshoot the Internet Explorer 8 issue, please refer to the following article: You cannot view, access, or load some Web pages when you use Internet Explorer 8 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/967897 Please check if the issue can be resolved. If the issue persists, let's manually uninstall and reinstall Adobe Flash Player. Uninstall and reinstall Flash Player ====== 1. Please refer to "C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash" folder. 2. There should be a file called uninstall_activeX.exe. Please double-click it to remove Flash Player. NOTE: If the file "uninstall_activeX.exe" does not exist under Flash folder, it is normal and we can move on to Step 3. 3. Then please remove all files under this folder: "C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash". NOTE: Some files may not get deleted from the Flash folders. Please enter the Safe Mode and then delete them again. To do so, we can refer to the following steps. a. Restart the computer. b. Keep pressing the F8 key until the Windows Startup menu appears. c. Choose Safe Mode, and press Enter. d. Delete all the files under the "C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash" again e. Restart the computer to return to Normal Mode. Note: In Safe Mode, your system display and Desktop will look and perform differently than in Normal Mode. This is only temporary. To return the system back to Normal Mode, we can simply restart the computer. 4. Once Flash Player is removed, please go to the following website to download and reinstall it: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ 5. Choose "Windows 7" under "Select an operating system". 6. Uncheck "Free Google Toolbar" and then click "Agree to install Now". 7. If a yellow notification bar appears, please click on it and then click "Install this Add-on for All Users on this computer". 8. Click Yes if the User Account Control message appears. 9. After downloading Flash Player, please install it. Please Note: The third-party product discussed here is manufactured by a company that is independent of Microsoft. We make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding this product's performance or reliability. Hope this helps. Regards, Linda

Hi Tyserman, Adobe Flash Player is not support x64 bit Windows 7. Therefore, please check if the issue occurs while using x32 bit version Internet Explorer. You can launch it by going to C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE. In addition, could you please let us know the result after completing the suggestions in my previous post?
