I recieved a labtop from my BF as a birthday gift last year. But the funny thing is that in the main account there is a password that I do not know, and I would like to know how to change it or erase it so I can download items. Can you please let me know step by step as to how I need to go thru with this in order to make my Guest account the main one?

Hi, The best way to get the original password for the main account is contacting your BF or the password owner. Then, you can change the password. It’s not recommended to use some third party software to recovery password. Thanks, Novak

I agree with Novak. Try to get the Admin password or ask him to create an admin account for you.
