Administrator with no accesd??
I am trying to change C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu. I want to rearrange my start menu as I could in XP but, although I am an admistrator (I am the ONLY user on laptop), and the Permissions on All Users for my account name AND Admin account are set to Full Control with all levels below included, I get a pop-up stating that I do not have access. I am denied. Why is this and can I get around it? (By the way, Documents and Settings has a shortcut arrown next to the folder as does Start Menu, another why?)

the folder C:\Documents and Settings is a junction point, not a real folder. The folder you want to open is located since Vista here: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu"A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/
