Hi, Actually, the administrator account is not turned off. It is just hidden. To show administrator account, please refer to the following steps. 1. Click the Start Button, type "cmd" (without quotation marks) in the Search bar. 2. Right click on the search result listed upper and click Run as Administrator. 3. In the open command window, input the following command and press Enter Key after it. net user administrator /active:yes 4. Then you will see administrator account at Welcome screen. Thanks, Novak

If you do not have any administrator accounts then you must look elswhere for a solution. Microsoft does not allow the posting of any information regarding how to bypass passwords to these forums. Solutions exist but you won't find them here or even any hints on how to find them. Be very careful when searching for this information. Many sites that are not legitimate will come up in searches for how to change or bypass passwords. They will try to infect your computer.Kerry Brown MS-MVP - Windows Desktop Experience

Well this is all related to the installation of a couple of gadgets from the windows gadget page. It would be fantastic if there was a gadget repair tool or some reasonable means from Microsoft to rollback without having to reinstall the OS (which was what I had to do)... It would also be great to have full access to my system out of the box. But I guess I might do something that MS would not be able to help me with... Now I see why Apple is doing so well.
