I am using windows xp pro, I was signed i as the default administrator ( did not require a password) and added a new account as administrator. Then loged in with the new administrator account and the old administrator account went missing. There was a new user account naed ROOT, witch i don't know where it came from. so I couldn't log on to the original administrator account ( the one with a blank password) anymore. My next step was to do a system restore, hoping it would bring back the original administrator account. The problem is now after doing the system restore a can log in to my own account but I am no longer an administrator, and the original administrator user name is back but I can't log in to it by leaving the password blank... seems like the original account has a password??can somebody please help.1 person needs an answerI do too
