Administrative privileges
My computer sometimes says that I am unable to access/install certain things because I am not the admin. Although, this is the only account and I am an admin! What should I do? :(

It sounds like User Account Controil (UAC) is in effect as that is the standard configuration in Windows 7. That means that you even though you have administrative priviliges run without admin rights. To perform installations for instance you might sometimes
have to right click the install file and choose "Run as administrator" to be able to install the application.

Yes, you can turn off UAC in Control Panel ->User Account Control. However this is not recommended, UAC should be turned on.Blogging about Windows for IT pros at
