Administrative password does not work---Help!
When I got my laptop I set it up and now I can't logon at all. Keeps saying password is wrong--can't be I picked it. Please write and let me know if anyone figures out the problem---Thanxs

Hi,
Please check if this is an OEM version. If so, please try to boot into
Safe Mode
to check if the built-in administrator account is enabled there.
If the built-in administrator is disabled and no other administrator account can be logged in, then we have to reinstall the system
after backing up the important files with Command Prompt.
However, if you've forgotten your Windows password and you're on a domain, you may contact your domain administrator for it or remove the computer from
domain and create an administrator account, then re-join domain for this issue.

Tips to reset Windows Vista Password
Windows Vista OS has an administrator account that controls all settings to the operating system. This is beneficial if you have a user account and forgot the password. Change the user account with the administrator account access.
