Admin settings
My 14 year old sons' netbook has somehow been set to block the internet. In addition, my rights as administrator have all been blocked so that I can't access the restrictions. Is there anything I can do short of reloading Windows?

Hello, restore your system state using a restore point that dates before the appearance of your problem. Possibly that you son deleted your account from the local admin group. In this case, you have to use another admin account. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights. Unfortunately, there was not a backup done and I am locked out of system restore. My son doesn't have admin priveledges, it's how I keep him from being places that 14 year olds don't belong. If I have to reinstall, I will have to figure out how to do it without a CD drive. I have disks for my other W7 PC's, but I'm not sure if it's the same as the W7 on a netbook.
