Admin Username and domain are gone
I tried to add an addiotnal username to my computer a couple of days ago and now I have lost my admin user account. I try to sign into windows and it is a brand new account. I cant make any changes because I am not in the admini account. I obviously screwed up something when trying to add another user. I must have changed the domain path and lost the way into my user account. What should I do? All my documents, pictures, email etc are in my admin user account.I originally bought this computer when I worked at a real estate compnay. They set-up my login and i am the only user. Do I need to contact a professional and pay to have my system restored? My computer is working and this didnt happen out of no where....I clearly screwed it up...PLEASE HELP!!!1 person needs an answerI do too

This sounds like a simple case of a corrupted profile. You may still have administrator privilege on your account. The quick way to check is to right-click on "Start". If one of the choices is "Open All Users", then you have administrator privilege. To recover your files, etc, follow the procedure in the following Microsoft KB article:"How to recover the damaged user profile in Windows XP" < http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555473 >HTH, JW
