Adding a Windows XP vhd to a vm Windows XP hosted on Windows 8.1 client

Hi,

on my Windows 8.1 machine I've created a new Windows XP vm and I'd like to add an existing Windows XP mode vhd.

Is it possible to do it? How?

try to locate both VHD files and replace one file (blank XP os) with another one (existing XP). (n

Hi pscorca,

In Windows 8.1, HyperV lets you run more than one 32-bit or 64-bit x86 operating system at the same time on the same PC, by running them inside a virtual machine. HyperV replaces Windows Virtual PC since windows 7, So XP mode doesnt apply to Windows 8.1.
