Is there any way to add emoticons in addition to the standard set that comes with Lync 2010?  If not are there any plans to add additional emoticons in an update in the future?  I think I speak for many when I say I have my (fingerscrossed) more are added, and i would give that a big (thumbsup)

at the moment there is no way to add additional emoticons.

Please dont bother adding more emoticons. We have seen your emoticons, they are dull. Please allow us to insert our own.  I have many images that I can use as emoticons to convey what I am feeling. Just let me insert them and send them without hiding them in some recieved files folder never to be seen again

We want to be able to add our own icons and gifs.

What a joke these emoticons are. Honestly Its a slap in the face to Microsoft users. Its almost as bad as windows 8. Google will rule all soon, and microsoft will be nothing but a large charity.

Lotus Notes is like a big pain in the ass compared to outlook, but Lynk is the pain in the ass compared to sametime!

why aren't you able to create awesome associated applications....

sametime fonctionnalities are very good, the way you can make screenshots directly from the app is just magic!

Lynk is more like a way back 20 years ago...

Lync on the windows phone has dozens and dozens of emoticons, but lync desktop with office 365 only has limited.

Couldnt you use just use the windows unicode symbol for thumbs up?

It would be nice to load additional and self-made emoticons.
