Add remove programs opens then shows egg timer then nothing.TomTom will not connect, it appears in device manager but there's no drive associated with it.I have windows XPAny help really appreciated.Thanks

Thanks for your help so far.My son added some camera software and I have deleted/moved a lot of music/photos but its not clear if this caused the problem since I only connect TomTom occasionally.It is a separate navigation unit which I connevt via USB.Success with the first bit; add/remove programs is now working.I've not had tome to try the rest of advice I will asap and reply again.Colin

Debleena SI removed the camera software once I got access to add/remove and things have speeded up alot.I still have problem with TomTom connectionFor the past 2 years or so I have connected TomTom via USB to update, but now nothing happens.I can connect TomTom to a borrowed computer so I sure its OK.I can see TomTom in device manager but there is no associated drive letter.I have tried connecting to other USB sockets but no difference.All USB's work with memory sticks.Colin
