Add a HP mini 311 netbook to wirelessly connect to HP C6180 connected with ethernet to Wireless Linsys router
Is this in fact possible? HP's site dances around my exact set-up and does not address it in any way to help me get it done. I have much experience but have been lax in keeping up with wireless tech and am a little behind in my ability. 5 years ago I would have been able to figure it out and I need to ask for expert help. Thank you, Rick

The best way to find out is to try and see what happens. There's no reason it shouldn't work. Just follow the instruction in the printer's manual for connecting wirelessly. The real question, and you will have to find out for yourself, is can the printer operate with both the ethernet and the wireless active. You do not have a Windows 7 networking problem; you have an HP hardware issue. Read The Friendly Manuals and follow the instructions!
