Adaptor missing from Network & Sharing Center, but working fine and found in "Network Connections".
I am using the internet fine right now, but the adapters are missing from "Network & Sharing Center". Adaptors are working and in Device Manager, Network Connections, without errors. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the device and drivers. Netman service is running. Connection is fine and I am using to post this. Windows 7 Pro 64bit Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller (Driver from MS) Built in to EVGA X58 MOBO. Help thanks!

Hi, Try the below steps to find network adaptor: 1. Click on start button and select Control Panel.2. Click on Network and Sharing Center.3. In Network and Sharing Center window, click on change adapter settings on the right-hand side panel. Hope this information is helpful. Umesh P - Microsoft Support

They are there, but that is not the problem. Network and Sharing Center says I am not connected to the internet. Even though I am. Because of this, I cannot connect to other things that require this be populated, like my VPN. I cannot "Create a connection" because there are no adapters present in "Network and Sharing Center", even though the adapters work and are in Device Manager.
