Action Center shows Multiple Security Programs running
I had install Microsoft Security Essentials on my Win 7 RTM Professional, and subsequently installed Norton Internet Security 2009. Only NIS 2009 shows running in the notification area, but when I look in the Action Center, both NIS and Microsoft show as running - note - I turned the auto start for this program off in Revo Uninstaller. Is this just a reporting error, or are both running?Windows 7 RC dual booting with VISTA Home Premium 2 GB memory 160 HD Gateway Laptop HP Officejet 6310 All-in One inkjet printer Verizon FIOS Internet Connection

Hi, Thank you for your post. Commonly, in order to avoid some conflicts between multiple security software, it is not recommended that you install more than one anti-virus software or firewall in Windows. Since both Microsoft Security Essentials and Norton Internet Security 2009 are both security suites with function of anti-virus, please remove one of them to see how it works. Thanks.
