Action Center Problem - Cannot View Problem Response
Hello, I have been running several applications, and as normal as it is, some of them crashed. There is a solution to some of the crashes, and I when I click to see them, this comes on first: Contacting Autobug Web Service - please wait. . . . Could not contact the Autobug Web Service Please continue to submit all Windows problem reports. This will ensure that when a solution is available, you will receive updated information. More information Thank you for self-hosting Windows 7. You have received this response because you submitted a problem report about a crash or hang on your computer. Bugs are filed on a daily basis with real-time bug filing to be enabled during M3. The information contained within this response is Microsoft Confidential and can not be distributed outside of Microsoft. This information is for internal use only. and then this: This program cannot display the webpage Most likely causes: You are not connected to the Internet. The website is encountering problems. There might be a typing error in the address. What you can try: Check your Internet connection. Try visiting another website to make sure you are connected. Retype the address. Go back to the previous page. Before you ask me obvious questions, YES my internet is working fine thank you. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi Many people are reporting this issue today. It sounds like the service is either experiencing problems or has been taken offline for maintenence. Hope this helps. Ronnie Vernon MVP

I can confirm this problem has been reported by me also. It is not intermittent and always occurs with one of the application crashes I would like to get fixed.

I can also confirm that this is an issue I am experiencing. It doesn't seem to matter what the "issue" is that's being reported / having a solution displayed, it always goes to the cannot display webpage frame. tristanxtc@gmail.com

Well so far no news on this matter... let's see how long it actually takes for a solution to appear... btw, Microsoft clearly thought this through carefully, and loads of people are going to install windows 7. I'd like to take this opportunity to say Congrats. Just don't fail the people who (trully and I can't emphasize that enough) support you the most, cause at the end of the day, if you lose them, you lost the game.

This could be due to Microsoft have some Server issue which started last week. At that time the Blogs and several other Microsoft related sites have had issues with loading properly. I would think that this is also a side effect of it as well. I just checked my Action Center and got the same screen. I know i am connected to the internet since i am typing this response. So i would say that this is also one of hte services affected teh the Server failure last week. They had to shift Servers around to get response time back up for other things. While this is no excuse this is just what i gather is happening. Once they get the Server issue squared away i am sure that this service will work again. Please just be patient while they work to fix the Server failure.~Alex T.~ ~Windows Desktop Experience MVP~

I have few archived messages and the ones that could be a common thing (like audio driver error) give you the next screen fine, butthere are others that do the "Cannot display page". All the onese that result in error so are ones that I would not have expeced a solution would be provided for at this stage (pretty obscure stuff). This happens every time in the same manner,so maybe it is just MS' way of saying "Sorry we've no clue what you're on about, and have no idea how to respond". Although why wouldn't it just say that instead?

Folks, I noticed the last thing that was posted on this subject was Jan. 27 of 2009... I am a Win 7-64 owner/user and I have experienced this same problem ever since I installed Windows 7 64-bit back in December of 09. As was stated in a previous post, I know for certain that I am connected to the inet as I am typing this post. I'm sure that this is an easily rectified problem... any ideas as of when or something I can do to maybe help my own situation? Thanks!
