Action Center - Windows Defender
Not a compliant, just a thought. I would have thought that WD would appear in the Action Center. Doesn't on mine. Be nice to have an option to enable or disable it from "the Center"...unless I missed it. Thanks!!

Actually, in Windows 7, Windows Defender is integrated with Action Center to provide a consistent means of alerting you when action is required, and provides an improved user experience when scanning for spyware or manually checking for updates. In addition, it has less impact on overall system performance while continuing to deliver continuous, real-time monitoring. If you would like to access Windows Defender and configure some options, you have to open it via Control Panel. In Action Center, Windows Defender cannot be accessed directly. Thanks,Novak

Thanks! Just seems that it would make a good option for Action Center. I like how WD is easier on the operation of the system in this release. Just commenting on how to get to it. That always seems to be the issue, folks know things are "there", just "where". Action Center seems like a good place as this is a security related tool. Thanks again all!!!!
