hi guys i got a new Acer aspire one D270-1596 for christmas!! I got it at a family members house and the netbook could access the internet fine. here is the problem i am having, i just got home 2 days ago and my netbook will not connect to the internet via the wired cable only the wirreless i will be getting a lan router soon but i am furious that it won't connect to the net at my house. if it is possible to fix this issue it would be greatly appreciated and also it keeps restarting if i use the built in screen. and NO i am not using the netbook for this or will i ever for my own reasons it has win 7 starter on it

by the way at my family members house i was using wired internet not wireless

i might occasionally use wireless but i prefer not to do you know what the driver issue is for the restarting issue all drivers on the netbook seem to report that they are newer than the drivers listed on the acer site i do not understand why that is
