Acer Aspire V3-572G: Frequent Random Freezing/Crashing

My Acer laptop, roughly 6-7 months old, running Windows 8, has been experiencing frequent freezing/crashing as of the last two days. Either the screen freezes entirely, or the screen goes black (backlight remains on, laptop appears to be on).

I've tried updating drivers, and virus scans seem to show nothing. Did a factory reset earlier but I'm still getting problems. Is this definitely a hardware problem?

Event Viewer shows a lot of errors concerning processor performance being limited. Also, I'm seeing alerts/errors from when the factory reset was being run, could this have affected anything?

Would appreciate any help anyone can provide. Also included OneDrive share of the error log.

Thanks all.

Hi RyunM,

Have you made any modifications to the machine or installed any third partysoftware before this issue ?

I have checked the logs you have uploaded .There are two main errors I care about much. The first one is related to the McAfee software .
It seems that there is something wrong with the McAfee software and the  McAfee SiteAdvisor Service service won`t startup .To verify whether this issue is casused by the McAfee software ,we can disable the McAfee from starting up automatically or uninstall it compeletely.

Apart from this ,there are many update errors related the built-in windows store apps .Because the Windows Firewall services is disabled , these apps won`t be updated .We can enable the windows firewall manually .Here is a link for reference:
Win8: App: Modern: Modern UI Apps fail to install with error 0x80073d0a if the Windows Firewall service is disabled

Considering the issue occurred recently ,we can perform a system restore to recover the machine to a previous normal point.

Here are part screenshots of the error messages for reference:
