Account management problem on Toshiba Vista HP
I learned in the forum about Nik's abilitys in telnet commands and scripting, so here's my problem: The computer of a family member with 1 administrator and 1 standard user, stopped to recognize both logon passwords, probably after an attemp of the standard user to circumvent the parental control. In order to gane access a used a (rather known) linux program. This program gives you the opportunity as well to promote a standard user to administrator. That's what I did, with a particular result: the standard account now shows up in both groups. Any effort to reverse this situation will result in a 'system error 1377 ' Although I now 'in'activated this account and created a new account, I'd like to know if there's another solution, just to avoid the annoyance of creating a new profile, dataloss etc Regards from Spain
