Why is there a difference in behaviour between XP and 2003 regarding startup of service running in domain accounts?We have noticed that our service fails to start on XP when the system is disconnected from the network. However, in Win2003 it will still startup. I can reproduce this with systems on the same network using the same accounts. On the XP system I can logon using the same user account that the service is using but I can't get the service to start until the network is reconnected.
