Account Disabled on Boot
Hi - have searched the forum but can't find a solution. Built a machine yesterday with a fresh RC1 build, no problem everything working etc etc. Now I boot and shows me a user selection screen where I can either click user 'Catmambo' and it says the account has been locked and contact sys admin or an 'other user' tab which has a username and password attached which I never specified yesterday. So I can't actually do anythig except reboot. I disabled UAC yesterday and wondering if this may have caused it when I rebooted today. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks

catmambo, Refer to the troubleshooting steps posted in this forum thread - the NTPasswd utility should help you out of this jam.-Alex

Hmm - no joy - NTPassword didn't seem to recognize the drive and claimed it wasn't formatted in NTFS. Meh...bit the bullet and hit system restore as it is probably easier then spending hours buggering around, especially given I had only just built it. Thanks for your help anyhow
