Accessing shared files and folders
My network is a Workgroup that consists of a total of 4 machines. One is a file server running Win Server 2008 R2. Two desktops and one laptop run Win7 Enterprise, Win7 Ultimate, and the laptop runs Win7 Home Premium. My problem is the laptop can see all the folders that are shared on the server but can only open two of them. These two folders below to the "Everybody" group. All the other folders produce a message saying I do not have permissions. I am the adminitrator and login with the same user name and password on each machine. I have no problem accessing these folders from the two desktop machines; only the laptop is the problem. How do I gain access to my own folders? Thank you.Craig Hale Conquest by Design

In all systems, please make sure that Password Protected Sharing is enabled. Then check the result. If the issue persists, temporarily disable all firewalls. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread.
