Hi kazrikt,What is the exact access violation error you get?Avicap32.dll is a module that contains functions for the Windows API (Application Programming Interface) that is used to capture AVI movies and video from web cameras and other video hardware.Step 1:Update the drivers for your webcam from the manufacturer’s website and check if you still come across the issue.Step 2: If the issue still persists, uninstall and reinstall the drivers or your webcam should replace the file.a. Click Start, click Run, and then type devmgmt.msc.b. On the Device Manager window, look for webcam, right click on it and select ‘uninstall’.c. Restart the computer and let the Windows detect the drivers by itself. Also refer to the below link:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927891Regards,Manasa P – Microsoft Support.
