Hi,
I suggest you check the sharing and securty permissons of the folder on the target machine, make sure that the acocunt has permissions to access to the shared file, you can refer to the following guide
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-hk/windows/share-files-with-someone#1TC=windows-7
I couldn't add account from network computer to share permissions
For instance: the destination PC name is hst1 It has the share folder.
The target PC name is hst2. It has account name user2, but hst1 hasn't account with name user2. How can I give access user2 to share folder
The guide looks pretty comprehensive to me. I could see several options which I believe would work.
Did you try the Public Folders approach? This has never failed for me. The other methods also work but you have to be aware of what you are doing. Public Folders just works.
Hi,
Are the two PCs in a homegroup, workgroup or a domain? Try to type "everyone" as the name, check the name, give full control permissions.
