All administrator user accounts are equal in XP. You don't need to log in as "the" administrator. Please clarify what you are trying to do and if you are getting an error message, please quote that message exactly - without paraphrasing. Also include the missing information as to what version of XP you have. For example, Windows XP Home Edition, Service Pack 3.
