Access Local Network Printer
Hi, My Wife's laptop had to be serviced and the operating system was restored. She lost access to the printer on the local network. She still has access to a network connected external hard drive. Two computers on the local network are Dell, the Studio laptop and a desktop Inspiron 530S. They both have Vista Ultimate SP2. The network discovery screen shows these settings for the laptop; File sharing on, Public folder sharing on (read only), Password protected sharing off, Media sharing off, Printer sharing on (offline printer installed). When this setting is expanded it shows "There are no printers attached to the computer". The printer is HP Photosmart D7260 I have exhausted my ability to correct this problem and I am looking for help! Thanks Frank C
