Access Denied
I know this topic has been discussed before but I have not understood the replies so I am asking for an "idiot" level solution.
I have 2 PCs, one Vista Home Premium 64bit named David-PC and the other is Vista Home Basic 32but named Vaio. They are connected via a wireless router and both can access the internet. I have installed a new hard drive ( H )to the Vaio and want
to transfer folders to it as s sort of backup.
I keep getting the dreaded "0x80070005 Access Denied" whenever I try to access drive H on the Vaio
I am administrator for both PCs and I have set Vaio drive H properties to "Shared" and Advanced Sharing permissions to "Everyone" Allowing Full Control, Change, Read.
The "Security" tab of the properties allows everything.
The firewall is OFF
What am I missing? (except access)
