About RDC(Remote Desktop Connection or Control). Cannot connect, but a Linux PC can.
I believe I got every settings done. According to the windows help instructions. But I still couldn't get connected. I'm using Win7 Ultimate. I used another Win7 Ultimate to connect. I failed. Then I tried Linux Ubuntu PC, succeeded. Someone says it's because the port 3389 was blocked by our university. But why can Ubuntu get through? What port is Ubuntu using to connect Remote Desktop?

The port is static (3389 by default), so if you can get through with any computer, you know that the port is open and not being blocked. What message do you receive when you try to connect to the computer using Remote Desktop? If this was helpful, please vote by clicking the green triangle. I got 3 error possibilities. The message told me that the network maybe not working, or the computer Iant to connect is not working (Can't remember now.) How to solve this? Why can I connect that with a linux computer?
