A recently installed program has disabled the welcome screen and fast user switching. To restore these features, you must uninstall the program. The following file name might help you identify the program that made the change: msgina.dll
Help!!! I recently un-installed a couple of programs and now my computer only allows me to log on via user name and password vs. the welcome screen.I tried to reset this feature via control panel, user accounts, change the way users log on or off, select logon and logoff option: use the welcome screen.However, it gives me the error message above and the boxes are shaded and will not let me make a selection.1 person needs an answerI do too

Go to Start/Run and type in: services.msc [OK] The Services mgmgt. console will open. Scroll down to Terminal Services and Fast User Switching and make sure they are Started.
