I am building an SOE for a customer in a specific scenario: ruggedized Panasonic machines that will be used by field technicians.

the machines will work with a 4G card so they will always be connected to the internal infra,

for this the APN of the provider must be configured well (in the image), but now it seems that sometimes for whichever reason the APN gets cleared and they can't connect any longer...

since we will be managing those machines with SCCM we could write a script or something to fix the problem, but in this scenario we will not be able to contact the machines any more

so I would like to find a way that a standard user can introduce/change the APN back to the value it is supposed to be

any ideas please?

The access point name is a combination of letters and numbers provided by the mobile operator to identify the type of network access you have.

Please insert the card into another computer to make sure your card is without problem.

If the issue appears on another computer, please contact Operator to repair it.
