ADUC MMC, copying AD user template - members of mailbox rights are not copied
Windows 7 Pro 32 bit with SP1 installed. Using RSAT for Windows 7, and Exchange 2003 ESM for Windows Vista. My DC's are running Windows Server 2008 32 bit with SP1 and my domain is in 2008 domain and forest function level. When in the MMC for ADUC I copy a AD user account (I use as a template) to setup new users on my network. But after copying it, the users and groups in Mailbox Rights do not get copied. Is this just a compatability issue with Exchange 2003 ESM for Vista being used on 7? Does Microsoft essentually refuse to support Exchange 2003 tools for Windows 2008 / 7 and newer? Forcing us to upgrade to Exchange 2007/2010? Or is there a solution that someone has?

Hi gregom, Thanks for the post! Managing Exchange 2003 from a Windows 7 workstation isn't quite so straightforward. The ESM console that come with the Exchange 2003 installation CD doesn't run on Windows 7. There's a workaround you can try, please refer to here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/ee518862.aspx. I recommend you also ask this question in Exchange Server forum.
