ADSL internet DNS disconnecting in-betweens for only Win7 and Vista computers
Sir, We have ADSL internet connection in our office, we have around 50 users here all are using windows computers only but only Win7 and Vista (7 computers out of 50) operating system computers are having problems for the connection it is disconnection DNS server link in between. We had done changing ADSL router, network switch, given static DNS in router as well as PC , disable firewall on the router and computer , we changed the LAN connections still the problem is persisting. All other OS computers are doesn’t have this issue such as Win XP, Win 2000 etc Please reply me Best Regards Lafeena

Hi, I would like to suggest you follow the steps below to assign the static IP address and DNS server address. 1. Click "Start", input "NCPA.CPL" (without quotation marks) and press Enter. 2. Right click on the connection that you use for the local connection, and then click "Properties". 3. Click “Continue” button to verify the administrator permission. 4. Click to select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)", and then click "Properties". 5. Select “use the following IP address” and “Use the following DNS server addresses” and assign the correct IP addresses. Does it work?
