802.1x Authentication-Tab is gone!
Hi!
I can't get my authentication running on my Notebook.
I enabled the service responsible for the authentication, but it doesn't seem to work.
At my workplace I don't need the authentication, but at my school I do need it to get internet access. I went to the local IT-Support there, but they couldn't help me.
At the bottom of my post, I attached a image of all my services. I already searched a lot on google about this but nothing has helped.
Maybe VM-Ware is responsible for the disappearing of that tab, but I already tried to uninstall it, without luck.
It sounds weird, but the only way I ould get the authentification-tab back, was to create a bridged connection between my wired and my wireless connection. As I did that the authenticaiton-tab was suddenly appearing in my wired connection. Then I was able
to type my username and password. Now I always have to do this and I only get internet connection after i delete my bridge.
I don't want to go through this every time I want to have internet access at my school...
I'm using Windows 7 x64 with my HP ProBook 4710s
My Network card: Marvell Yukon 88E8072
You guys are my last hope, please help me!

Solved!
In Case someone else is getting this problem, I solved it by installing VirtualBox. I really can't explain it but with the added Network Adapter from VirtualBox my Authentication-Tab appeared again in my physical network card!
